In the period 11–14/5/2017 the National Show of Livestock together with the first ANIMAL TECH International Fair for Animal Production will take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Thanks to the new concept focused specifically on animal production there will be additional more professional presentations on livestock, breeding technology, veterinary and reproductive techniques, feedstuffs and medications for livestock and it will be more attractive for professionals in the field, and particularly for breeders, those working in animal husbandry, farmers and vets.

More than 200 firms from 10 countries with a complete range of products for breeders have signed up to ANIMAL TECH. Feedstock companies are well represented, some of them exhibiting at the Brno Exhibition Centre for the first time or returning after a long interval – for example De Heus, VVS Verměřovice and Sano-Moderní výživa zvířat. Milking equipment will also be expanded compared to previous years, represented for example by the brands LELY and GEA. The participation of companies offering breeding services will be significant. Among the equipment exhibited will be for example loaders and other machinery for livestock production. A novelty will be a presentation of Ramzess and Eurobox brand horse trailers. Universities, research institutions and breeders’ associations will also have stands.

At the same time the National Gamekeeping Show and the Fair for Sustainable Living in the Landscape NATUR EXPO BRNO will be taking place. The Central European Veterinary Congress will be taking place 12–13/5/2017 with its main theme being “Joint diseases of people and animals – myth and fact”. Another accompanying exhibition will be the International Beekeeping Exhibition and Mead Show.
