OSCAR DE LA RENTA
Oscar de la Renta is one of the best fashion designers of the world. His collections are always one of the most exclusive and most expected events of the fashion season. However, his name also means jewellery, perfumes, porcelain and footwear.
He was born on 22 July 1932 in Santo Domingo. He came to fashion in 1949 and acquired his apprenticeship under Cristobal Balenciaga from Spain. In 1967, he introduced the first collection designed in his name. His fans and followers also included e.g.
Nancy Reagan, Laura Bush or Hillary Clinton.
He is an owner of several significant and life-time appraisal awards in the fashion industry.

EMILIO PUCCI
The designer Emilio Pucci became famous in the 1940s in Switzerland, where a Harper’s Bazaar photographer discovered him. His famous iconic caleidoscopic prints are characteristic for the Pucci creative approach. Peter Dundas, the Creative Director, follows his lead and continues to create masterpieces gaining notoriety by their elegance and lively colours.
Around 1960, Marilyn Monroe became a major fan of Pucci’s works and designs. She was photographed by George Barris, wearing Pucci’s designs and she was also buried in a Pucci dress. As the decade was rushing forward, his original pieces found new owners in e.g. Sophia Loren or Jackie Kennedy, and in the early 1990s also pop icons such as Madonna. Recently, he has been creating original outfits for Beyoncé for the “red carpet” events, her videos as well as for her latest “Beyoncé Tour 2013”.
