The trade fairs will be held on January 18-21. The first day is intended for professionals.
Win a trip to Mauritius
Beautiful beaches, wonderful swimming and diving, breathtaking nature, delicacies and sunshine. What more could you ask for? All this and more can be found in Mauritius. And if you come to the GO and Regiontour trade fairs and the Go Camera travel festival, you can visit this paradise for free. Participate and try to answer this tricky question: How many coffee beans can be found in the package of coffee of the BWINDI ORPHANS exhibition of CK Livingstone in Hall P? The guessing begins on January 18 and ends at 4pm on January 21.
Spin and win a stay in Upper Austria
The wheel of fortune will be waiting for you at the booth of the company Privatvermieter Verband Oberösterreich in Hall P. "For just thirty crowns, visitors can spin the wheel and win something each time. We have small, medium and valuable gifts prepared, but only in one of the 18-wheel fields, the main prize – the free stay - can be found." said Marianne Zöchbauer of the Upper Austria private accommodation company.
Go to Aqualand Moravia for free
Fans of swimming, water attractions and lounging around in hot water can try their luck at the Aqualand Moravia booth. This South Moravian water park will also bring a wheel of fortune where you can win tickets to the giant aqua park, which is the most frequently visited tourist destination in the South Moravian region, as well as other valuable prizes.
Win a degustation menu
Ten great Brno restaurants will display their craft at GO and Regiontour. And those interested can win their luxury degustation menu. Do not hesitate and give it a whirl on the Go and Regiontour trade fair’s Facebook page. The offer includes restaurants such as Koishi, Kohout na Víně, Konfit or Signature. You will also get tickets for fairs with your winnings.
Taste the First-Republic Coffee
If you are a coffee lover, you might be interested in the tasting contest that the three-time Coffee Champ Adam Troubil will be holding in the city of Brno booth. Since this year's exhibition is largely devoted to the centennial anniversary of the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic, you can check out how coffee tasted during the First Republic. Adam Troubil presents an interesting talk about it.
Do you climb mountains, ride down rivers, go out into the world or just spend time in your backyard and you think your pictures are really good? Don’t hesitate and submit them to the CK Livingstone competition. You can win a workshop with the great photographer Jan Šibík or a balloon flight. The submission deadline is January 15, the details can be found on the travel agency website. And the same offer applies to travel books and movies.
Guess, climb and solve riddles
The possibilities for winning at GO and Regiontour will be endless. You can win a road atlas of tourist stamp sites, just join the competition. The wooden stamps are a real phenomenon, with 2456 of them having already been issued and they are collected by thousands of people not only in the Czech Republic.
A lot of pondering will also be going on in festival Hall F, for example the Club of Czech Tourists and Tripeduca prepared a game created especially for the January trade fair. Participants will try to find out where the mammoth disappeared to. Why the mammoth? It was one of the greatest draws of the Exhibition of Contemporary Art In 1928.
You can participate in a number of votes at GO and Regiontour. For example, for the most beautiful region that the company KAM has long organized around the Czech Republic. Guesswork will also be in play at the booth of the traditional guest Dobrý den agency which compiles Czech records. "We will have a record-sized Czech flag produced, which we will then put into the Czech Book of Records," says Miroslav Marek, President of Dobrý den agency in Pelhřimov, describing one of the main attractions of the January exhibition in Brno. Visitors of the fair can try to estimate how many A4-sized flags would fit into the giant one.
There will also be a lot of moving around at the exhibition grounds, which the experimental Hall F is intended for. Try your skills and win prizes on the first mobile climbing wall in the Czech Republic. Individual and group tournaments on conquering its two-hundred-meter path will be held. Competitions will be held in launching off golf balls or in the inflatable attraction for children. Cyclists won’t be let down either…
