Attractive novelties

The IDET display will be occupying the largest Hall P just like two years ago, and its total extent will be similar. The composition of exhibitors and the announced new products make it evident that the high quality level remains. Visitors can enjoy the many unique exhibits which they could hardly take a closer look at elsewhere than at the fair.

The largest area will be traditionally occupied by the display of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces. Their latest technique and equipment will be represented by e.g. the CZ 805 BREN assault rifle, GLOCK and PHANTOM pistols or Minimi light machine gun, which was introduced into service in virtually all NATO countries. The extensive exhibition in Hall P and the adjacent outdoor areas will also look back into history, because the Czech Army celebrates twenty years since its inception. There will be are examples of technology, gear and equipment on display from the time when the Czech Army was created so that visitors will be able to judge how far has it come in 20 years and what its priorities were and are. Attractive demonstrations will certainly include Musado martial arts or a motor show performed by members of the Castle Guard.

Major exhibitors include the following companies: Excalibur Army Praha, Omnipol Prague, Praga-Export, CROY Rakovník or Saab Czech. There is also LOM Praha specializing in the modernization of aircraft technology, SVOS Přelouč as a manufacturer of integrated armour solutions for military and civilian purposes or STV Group Praha with supply of military equipment, spare parts and repairs. In addition to traditional participants there will also be new companies introducing themselves, from the Czech Republic and also abroad, e.g. from Slovakia, Germany, Hungary, Austria, USA. The largest foreign participations will be from Slovakia, Poland and Germany, presentations of the Polish and Slovak armies are also confirmed.

Other leading exhibitors already informed in advance about the novelties they are bringing to this year's IDET. The Svitap company offers clothing using a unique nanofibre NANOPROTEX membrane. VOP CZ will present among others, an MDA decontamination vehicle and combat device decontamination equipment. The Czech arms factory will for example present the CZ 75 SP 01 PHANTOM pistol whose structure follows the legendary CZ 75 or the new CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1, which shoots from the front position of the dynamic cut-off and is equipped with a folding telescopic shoulder stock for accurate shooting up to 250 m distance. There will of course be many more interesting innovations and the most interesting ones will receive the prestigious IDET NEWS award, whose awarding is decided by a international journalist jury first day of the fair.

During the fair will be also prepared meetings with military athletes. Preliminarily are reported for example world champion in discus throw Imrich Bugár, road cyclist Josef Regec or top snowboarding duo Ester Ledecká and Sarka Pančochová.
