After the postponement of the TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS fairs, which were to take place in 2020, the next year will have an extraordinary set. Trade fairs specialized in plant and animal production will take place together, ie TECHAGRO and ANIMAL TECH with the National Livestock Exhibition, with which the Brno Exhibition Center will open for visitors to the SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS trade fairs. The date of the event is four days from Sunday to Wednesday. For exhibitors who register by September 30, a 10% price advantage applies.
Show of livestock, technologies for animal production and gamekeeping attracted nearly forty thousand visitors
Almost one thousand animals from the best Czech breeders, a broad range of technologies for animal production and offer of supplies for hunting, gamekeeping and outdoor activities. All of this was on display at the Brno Exhibition Centre from last Sunday and together with a rich conference, educational and awareness programme attracted a lot of interest from experts and the public. After two years, a concept combining the National Show of Livestock, the ANIMAL TECH fair and the National Gamekeeping Show once again reaffirmed its attractiveness. According to a preliminary estimate, this unique show was visited by more than 37,000 paying visitors over its duration of four days.
Thirty exhibits fought this year for the Animal Tech 2019 Gold Medal, of which 18 were shortlisted. The jury with its chairman Jiří Mašek, Dean of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, eventually selected 6 of them. Seven exhibits then received a special award, the first ever Smart Farming.
The National Show of Livestock, the ANIMAL TECH fair and the National Gamekeeping Show 2019 were opened by the Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture and other distinguished guests. The ceremony took place at the dairy cattle demonstration site in Hall P in the dignified and impressive sets consisting of five shapely bulls.
Do you like your horses? Then you will surely give them the best, because love passes through the stomach, and this is doubly true concerning our four-legged herbivores – to make them look good, feel good, simply to make them thrive in all senses. Several companies focusing on horse nutrition and veterinary care will present themselves in Hall F.
Buy an original picture of a horse, an interesting book, riding clothes, maybe a saddle or a trailer. Directly in Hall F you have the opportunity to pick from the offer of equestrian supplies and souvenirs from various parts of the country.
More than 150 horses and almost 20 breeds will present the Horse Exhibition held as part of the National Show of Livestock in Brno this year. Hall F will host not only breeders‘ shows, but also various horse riding demonstrations. During the trade fair, the 9th Central European Veterinary Congress will be held over two days at the Brno Exhibition Centre; its topic will "Microbial Resistance – the Topic of the Day".
