International Fashion Footwear and Leatherwear Fairs

This fair duo is the only place where supply and demand of the fashion industry from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and other Central and Eastern European countries come together. It offers exhibitors a unique opportunity to present their new collections in the attractive and exclusive environment of modern halls of the Brno Exhibition Center. These fashion and leatherwear fairs, which take place twice a year in February and August, strictly keep preserve their B2B character and are the meeting place for professionals and traders from the textile, clothing, shoe and leather wear industries.

STYL-KABO February 2016 in numbers

Fifty-four companies, thirty-five at the STYL trade fair and nineteen at the KABO trade fair, introduced themselves for the very first time. In total, 284 exhibitors from 12 countries and 632 represented brands presented their collections of textile, clothing, footwear, and leatherwear. The novelties for the autumn and winter 2016/2017 season were viewed by five thousand professional visitors, retailers and buyers. 567 foreign visitors registered at the cash offices. They came from 21 countries, predominantly from Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Hungary and Turkey. During the three days 70 media representatives from the Czech Republic and Slovakia accredited at the Press Centre.


International Trade Fair of Electrotechnics, Electronics, Automation, Communication, Lighting and Security Technologies - 21-24 March, 2017

The AMPER Trade Fair (organized by Terinvest Prag) is the most significant professional event in the Central Europe, which is annually held in modern exhibition halls of Brno Exhibition Centre. In the year 2016, the trade fair had been visited by 45.200 visitors, and attended by 605 companies from 23 countries, which exhibited on the total exhibition space 30.500 sq.m.

STAINLESS – 17-18 May, 2017

Stainless, International Stainless Steel Trade Fair, has been held at the Brno Exhibition Centre since 2009. It is a highly specialised show of stainless steel with strong international attendance both among exhibitors and visitors. With 80% international attendees of the total 150 this event is the most international in the Brno Exhibition Centre portfolio. Among visiting professionals of whom there are over a thousand this proportion is almost 40%.

According to analyses, the European stainless steel market should increase annually by 4.5% in 2015. Regarding global trends, the consumption of stainless steel will grow especially in Asia in the coming years. China, which is already its largest consumer, should consume a half more by 2020, and growth by as much as 64% is expected in India during the same period. Also the expected growth in nickel prices is important news.

ISET - International Security Technology and Services Fair

IDET, International Fair of Defence and Security Technology, is one of the biggest shows of defence technology in Central and Eastern Europe. Exhibitors from ca. 30 countries present their products to international military delegations and professionals from all over the world. In 2005 IDET was the largest trade show in this field in Europe and since 1997 it has been number one in Europe in odd years. Part of each run is a varied accompanying programme in which defence technology experts discuss topical issues. PYROS and ISET is held concurrently with IDET under the common title of Integrated Rescue System Fairs.
