International Plastics, Rubber and Composites Fair
Participation in IMT 2012 already confirmed by the largest manufacturers
Metalworking and metal forming machines will once again be the main branch of this year’s edition, having reserved the largest Hall P and other exhibition areas. Machining and forming technology is not only the backbone engineering discipline, without which virtually no manufacturing can be done, but also a traditional and highly successful export industry of Czech manufacturers. The Czech Republic has been one of the 15 most powerful producer countries in this business for long time.
Machine and forming tools are of course presented at the Brno Exhibition Centre each year, but they are given special attention in even-numbered years when the global World's EMO fair does not take place. Major regional trade fairs then become a place for presentation of new trends and the IMT fair in Brno has been included ever since its inception in 1998. The largest departmental presentation in Central and Eastern Europe will take place for the eighth time this year and now it is clear that it will have a very good representation.
Traditional and large Hall P exhibitors already confirmed their participation in advance. The domestic producers for example include Tajmac-ZPS, TOS Varnsdorf, ALTA Group, Strojírna TYC Kovosvit MAS or Šmeral Brno. Usual foreign exhibitors will include Agie Charmilles, Alfleth Engineering, DMG, Heidenhain, Swisstool Export Gruppe and others.
Organizers also noticed great interest in participating from other fields. The materials and components branch already received applications from Vítkovice, Ferona, MUT Tubes, SEW-Eurodrive, ISD, Bibus and others. Participation in the PLASTEX exhibition was confirmed by Arburg, Engel, Kuboušek, Plastochem, etc. Other major exhibitors have confirmed participation in fields such as measurement and automation or drives, pneumatics and hydraulics.
Applications by the end of March
The International Engineering Fair is returning to the traditional September date this year, and therefore the application deadline is also moved ahead. Exhibitors may apply for participation by 31 March 2012, which guarantees them a discount and also a choice of exhibition space, where increased interest can be expected due to extended portfolio of presented fields this year.
Same as last year, exhibitors have the opportunity to use the electronic application form, which is available at www.bvv.cz / e-prihlaska.msv.
