From the sectorial point of view, the main topic of this year’s edition will focus on a bi-annual cross-sectional project named AUTOMATION - measuring, control, automation and regulation technology. The project, organized in cooperation with the Czech-Moravian electrical and Electronic Association, emphasizes the use of automation in various fields. This year's fifth edition will focus on connecting the new information technologies and management of production processes, improving productivity, quality and competitiveness and reducing overall costs. The last edition of AUTOMATION in 2010 was attended by 282 exhibitors from ten countries.
Another cross-cutting project entitled Technology Transfer and Innovation 2012 takes place at MSV for the fourth time. It is a contact centre and also the largest domestic concentration of science and research capacities for industrial use. Traditional participants include universities, research centres and institutes, the Academy of Sciences and other entities who present successful research projects and specific activities. Investors and entrepreneurs can thus get an overview of the research sector and the possibilities of mutual cooperation in one place.
Applications by the end of March
The International Engineering Fair is returning to the traditional September date this year, and therefore the application deadline is also moved ahead. Exhibitors may apply for participation by 31 March 2012, which guarantees them a discount and also a choice of exhibition space, where increased interest can be expected due to extended portfolio of presented fields this year.
Same as last year, exhibitors have the opportunity to use the electronic application form, which is available at www.bvv.cz / e-prihlaska.msv.
