International Forestry and Hunting Fair
An otherwise underused space attracts visitors of the SILVA REGINA fair to a series of topical exhibitions, among others exhibits of Eurasian game or unique historical forest maps, but also to the hunter's restaurant with venison delicacies.
One of the three largest agricultural shows in Europe which was first held in Brno just 20 years ago was opened in the Rotunda of Hall A. This year's international trade fair complex of TECHAGRO, ANIMAL VETEX, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS is the largest in its history. Thirteen awards were presented during the opening to the best exhibits and two awards to the leading personalities in the field.
13th edition of TECHAGRO, ANIMAL VETEX, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS is here! Brno Exhibition Ground with all its halls and adjacent outdoor areas is completely filled by more than 730 exhibitors and thousands of visitors.
The complex of agricultural and forestry fair started today at 9 am when gates of the Brno Exhibition Centre opened. The interest of visitors has been enormous since day one; during the first three hours, 27,000 people passed through the gates of the Exhibition Centre.
The complex of trade fairs TECHAGRO, ANIMAL VETEX, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS was opened at 10 am with the participation of Minister of Agriculture Marian Jurečka and other distinguished guests.

The end of March and the beginning of April belong to the complex of agrarian and forestry fairs at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Between 30th March and 3rd April, the Exhibition Centre will host the fairs TECHAGRO - agriculture, SILVA REGINA – forestry, hunting, BIOMASS – renewable energies in agriculture and forestry and ANIMAL VETEX – veterinary fair.
Between 30th March -3rd April, the Brno Exhibition Centre in the Czech Republic will host a group of fairs headed by the international fair of agricultural technology TECHAGRO. These fairs rank amongst the three largest fairs of this kind in Europe and a visit to these fairs offers a good opportunity to map out the innovations in agricultural and forestry equipment as well as to meet experts, colleagues and everyone in the community of farmers, foresters and game keepers. The first TECHAGRO fair took place at the Brno Exhibition Centre 20 years ago and this edition will become more than a dignified celebration of this anniversary.

The agricultural and forestry fairs TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA, BIOMASS and ANIMAL VETEX take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre every two years and their next edition is knocking on the door – it will be held between 30th March – 3rd April 2014. For gamekeepers and foresters the most important fairs are BIOMASS and, in particular, SILVA REGINA, presenting forest equipment, hunting equipment and clothing and offering a rich supporting programme focusing on game keeping and hunting.
The greatest agrarian event held this year, the international fairs TECHAGRO, ANIMAL VETEX, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS, will be ceremonially opened on 30th March. Until 3rd April, the Brno exhibition centre will host the state-of-the-art agricultural machines and equipment as well as forest equipment, game-keeping presentations, technologies for livestock production and technologies for renewable resources energy use.
