The Fashion Trade Fairs Have Confirmed a Positive Development of the Field
The 43rd trade fairs STYL and KABO prove the stabilization of the fashion industry as well as an improving situation in retail. In between the years the number of presented brands has risen and thirty companies had their exhibition premiere at this trade fair. The biggest B2B gathering of textile, fashion, footwear, and leatherwear industry for the Czech and Slovak market attracted more than five thousand trade visitors, businessmen, and buyers. The collections presented were mainly fashion collections for the autumn and winter of 2014/2015.
Catwalks Have Come Alive; the Brno Fashion Trade Fairs Have Begun
Today at 9 o’clock the gates of the Brno Exhibition Centre were opened. The pavilions P and F have just started hosting the 43rd International Fashion Trade Fairs STYL and KABO, where more than 550 fashion, footwear, and leatherwear brands from seventeen countries are presenting themselves. The catwalks have come alive as well.
STYL and KABO – gateway to the Central European fashion market
STYL and KABO fairs at the Brno Exhibition Centre have been held two times a year since 1993. From their inception they were a specialized B2B show of the fashion industry. The aim of the organizers has always been to create an optimal environment for business, presentation and international cooperation in these sectors. Many brands and fashion designers known and established today entered the fashion market here in Brno.
Pleas is Celebrating Anniversary and Presenting Innovations
This year at the STYL fair, the Pleas company is celebrating their anniversary of 140 years from the start of textile and knitwork production in Havlíčkův Brod, but instead of looking over the shoulder into the past, the company shows the future of the field. New treatment technology LongLife prolongs the life of cotton knitworks so even after many washings, the products still look brand new.
The Star of the Indonesian Fashion World Brought Original Designs to Brno
She is 22 and she has been working in the fashion company of her parents since she was 17. Her designs stirred the water at the Jakarta Fashion Week in 2010 so much that the renowned television channel CNN asked to do an interview with her. Today, she presented her exclusive fashion collection at the STYL and KABO fairs in Brno. Her name is Dian Pelangi and she is one of the talented designers of the Muslim world who managed to draw the attention of American and European audiences, including the audience in Brno.
Three Living Legends on the Catwalk in Hall P
Oscar de la Renta, Emilio Pucci, Elie Saab… Every name is a pearl of the fashion world. Thanks to the cooperation with the Prague multi-brand boutique Obsession, visitors of the STYL fair were able to enjoy the current works of three renowned designers live in an exclusive fashion show prepared specially for this occasion. And it was something to see!

Accept our invitation to the world of fashion and design! From Sunday, the 18th to Tuesday, the 20th August 2013, the 42nd annual STYL and KABO fashion fairs will be held at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Traders from the textiles, clothing, leather and footwear industries are thus offered a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the latest trends and innovations and establish direct business contacts with partners not only from the Czech Republic. Nearly 260 exhibitors from 19 countries will showcase and present new models and collections of nearly 600 brands designed especially for the spring - summer season 2014.
A must-see Trend Forecasting for 2014!
After a longer break, a quality trend lecture will take place within the STYL and KABO fairs. The seminar will be held on Monday, 19 August, from 11:00 AM in room PF in Hall P; this time in cooperation with a renowned forecasting agency – World Global Style Network* (WGSN) from London.

Dian Pelangi, 21, one of the top indonesian fashion designer. She is the main designer of Dian Pelangi company, one of the nation’s leading moslem fashion house. Born on January 14th 1991 in Palembang, she later graduated from Ecole Superieur des Arts et Techniques de la Mode (ESMOD) with a very satisfying grade at 2008.
