Her lecture took place directly on the catwalk in the pavilion P, and for the second time in history it was connected to a fashion show of collections of exhibitors whose pieces illustrate the new trends.

The company Karpet is one of the Czech companies whose current production was very favourably commented on by the Dutch fashion trend specialist Ellen Haeser during her Saturday’s lecture. “We tried to choose interesting models, including paper or sisal ornate hats. We’re happy that we caught the audience’s interest, that several our photos made an appearance in the lecture, and that our goods are well liked. This is why we do it, so that the customers are satisfied,” says Monika Jeglová, Karpet’s sales manager.
The opening presentation of the fashion trade fairs STYL and KABO belonged, as usual, to collections of exhibitors. This year they mostly presented fashion for girls and women who appreciate both the aesthetic and the practical side of clothes in various everyday situations. As part of the STYL SHOW the companies and brands LADY COLLECTION, NEULA, TRAMONTANA, MODĚVA, ESTEL COLLECTION, PTAK FASHION CITY a JOYMISS presented their collections.
The biggest number of exhibiting companies in the last ten years, two pavilions filled with up-to-date fashion trends and novelties for the next spring and summer, collections of 666 brands, fashion shows, and interesting accompanying program. This is the menu of the 48th fashion trade fairs STYL & KABO, which begin in the Brno Exhibition Centre on Saturday the 27th of August and end on Monday the 29th of August. There will be more than eighty exhibitions of solely Czech manufacturers, who are more sought out year after year, and almost seventy of them will present their collections in Brno for the first time.
The STYL and KABO Fairs are the only international fashion trade fairs in the territory of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. As far as Central Europe is concerned, similar Fashion Fairs, focusing solely on B2B visitors, nowadays take place only in Great Britain, Denmark, Sweden and naturally in France, Italy and Spain. For companies from around the world working in the field of textiles, clothing, footwear and leather industry, the STYL and KABO Contracting Fairs are an important place to present themselves and trade. At present, it is one of the largest fairs in Europe.
