Strengthening contacts with existing customers, new business opportunities and physical presentation of a company and its products. These are the three most common reasons why exhibitors take part in trade fairs. This follows from a survey conducted by Trade Fairs Brno in March 2021. 768 exhibiting companies from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and other countries took part in the survey. The aim of the survey was to answer the question of what potential will trade fairs have in the post-Covid period.
Due to the ongoing unfavourable epidemic situation and government measures that do not allow the holding of a full-feature expo event, and hence the persisting uncertainty about further development, the management of Trade Fairs Brno agreed with partner sectoral associations to cancel the TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS 2021 fairs and hold them from 3 to 7 April 2022. ANIMAL TECH and the National Show of Livestock will be postponed to 5-8 September 2021.
The most sought-after exhibits at Techagro are traditionally tractors. New Holland, Valtra, Case, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Ferrari, Deutz Fahr, Zetor, John Deere, Kubota and other companies will present their new products here.
Since the 2020 season, TECHAGRO specializes in crop production; livestock production is the focus of ANIMAL TECH, which takes place at the Brno Exhibition Centre in odd years.
Current climatic conditions require farmers to take an extremely sensitive approach to soil. Tillage machines will be presented at TECHAGRO by companies such as Lemken, OPaLL-AGRI, Bednar FMT, Kverneland, MOREAU AGRI, MG Agrocenter, SMS Rokycany and Agrozet České Budějovice. The last two companies mentioned above told us what they would be bringing to this year's expo and what they believe is the trend in the current development of this industry.
At the stands of many exhibitors at the TECHAGRO fair, visitors will find technologies for precision agriculture; the supporting programme, such as the conference to be held on Thursday, will be dedicated to this particular topic.
Just like in the previous season, visitors to Techagro will find post-harvest technology in Hall A1 – devices that offer farmers solutions for cleaning, drying, sorting or treatment of grain.
Exhibitors at the TECHAGRO fair and other concurrently held fairs will feature a large number of exhibits in the field of municipal equipment, and a special supporting programme is being prepared for representatives of municipalities as part of the BIOMASS event.
From 31 March to 4 April, the TECHAGRO International Fair of Agricultural Technology SILVA REGINA International Forestry and Hunting Fair and BIOMASS Trade Fair for Renewable Sources of Energy in Agriculture and Forestry will take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre (Czech Republic). This complex is one of the three largest fairs of its kind in Europe, with over 700 exhibitors presenting themselves on almost 90 thousand square meters, and it is attended by more than 110 thousand visitors. The 2020 expo will completely fill the Brno Exhibition Centre and the supporting programme will be expanded compared to previous years. Both the exhibition stands and the supporting programme combine the topic of sustainable management in times of climate change.
The agricultural and forestry fairs to be held in Brno in 2020 will once again be a leading expo in its field in Central Europe. Most brands of agricultural equipment operating on the Czech market will be presented at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Brno's agricultural and forestry fairs will newly be held from Tuesday to Saturday. Compared to previous years, the supporting programme will also be expanded, including two conferences.
